Best Indian Food in Montclair

I just had dinner this Tuesday at Brick Lane and -- having spent a couple of years in London -- can confirm they are every bit as good if not BETTER than the cuisine you'll find in London Town. They have a new cook who's out of this world. Do yourself a favor and give Brick Lane a try!

Mumbai in Montclair. It was well worth the 40-mile drive for me. Chef Sanaour’s new menu is quite outstanding and makes it a brand-new dining experience. Intimate setting, superb service, authentic cuisine – a real trifecta. Highly recommended perfection.

The restaurant has brought in a new chef from its Jersey City location. We have really enjoyed all her dishes. Her bass in a coconut sauce is to die for. She has also started serving on Saturdays and Sundays a Thali Special for $19.99. It is a platter that contains about a dozen items. The portions are not large, BUT you can order more of any item for free. She varies the menu from week to week.

Finally tried this for takeout, and I was blown away by how delicious everything was. The butter chicken was really delicious and the railway mutton curry was incredible. My husband (who is Indian) still talks about it. The flavors were complex and seemed like freshly ground spices. Also thought the Gobi Manchurian was especially tasty. Will definitely be our new go-to.

I recently visited this Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was bursting with authentic flavors, cooked to perfection, and served fresh and hot. Every dish we tried was delicious — rich, aromatic, and full of the traditional taste that reminded me of home. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. On top of that, the staff was polite and attentive, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving genuine Indian cuisine. I can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely a must try! The staff is beyond accommodating & kind. They are 100% wheelchair accessible. They brought out Mobile ramps for my husband to access the establishment. They treated us fairly, and the food was incredible! Definitely plan to recommend this place to everyone I know!

The Food is outstanding. I was a Brick Lane fan before they reopened and was crushed when they closed. News that they were coming back was music to my ears, and I now order from them once a week, either for delivery or to eat there in person. Never had a dish that didn't blow my mind, and I'm a chef by trade who is super picky. Brick Lane is phenominal and I'm so happy they are back!

We had a wonderful time here tonight! The interior was gorgeous, and the food was delicious and generously portioned. Our hostess, Thanmayee, deserves special mention for being so warm and attentive. The perfect spot for a special occasion. Looking forward to returning!

Great food. So happy they reopened. Thanamayee was our server and she was so attentive and efficient. Highly recommend the Lasuni Gobi and vindaloo! Definitely my favorite Indian restaurant by far!

Went for a dine-in on a Sunday afternoon. The place is great, and has a good vibe. We ordered thalli, and the food was very delicious with a good quantity as well. Great Place.
